Bucharest, March 15 – Get ready for the 2nd edition of Bucharest Charity Fashion Show – the most glamorous charity event in Romania. More than 250 personalities will attend the event: businessmen, media and public figures, influencers, Presidential Administration representatives and top-ranking diplomats, including US Ambassador – H.E. H.E. Mr. Cord Meier-Klodt, the German Ambassador in Bucharest, said: “It will be a great pleasure to attend this impactful fundraising event that not only supports one of society’s most vulnerable groups, but also unifies a multicultural community in a common, noble goal. „Charity begins at home” as the saying goes, so I encourage each and every one of you to make your own personal contribution to the people in need that this philanthropic cause addresses. A single act of kindness will result in collective action that could save lives”, he added.
Together with Alin Galatescu as Artistic Director, the International Women’s Association and Fundatia Inovatii Sociale Regina Maria bring 6 top Romanian designers to the stage: Eli Laslean, Simona Semen, Diana Dianu, Aleha Toncea, Alexandra Calafeteanu and Svetlana Karahan.
They will present their newest collections and offer for auction original fashion pieces, as well as reinterpreted versions of the traditional costumes of participating countries. The show will be hosted by Teo Trandafir and closed by a parade of traditional costumes from around the world, a unique contribution by IWA.
During a month celebrating women, IWA and the Fundatia Inovatii Sociale Regina Maria join forces for the health of other women through a colorful and hopeful event with the ultimate goal of raising €100,000. You can get involved by buying a ticket to the Bucharest Charity Fashion Show.
